Beating the Odds: How Coventry Youth Activists Built Their Power
Coventry Youth Activists (CYA) used their ecosystem to take on a big challenge—fighting for disability rights. They worked with different people and groups, shared ideas, and supported each other. Because they had a strong network, they won their campaign and made real change happen.

Welcome LEA….
Introducing LEA – Your Virtual Ally with CYA!
We are thrilled to introduce LEA, a creation by Coventry Youth Activists in collaboration with Warwick University Students as part of their Digital Engagement module. LEA is not just an illustration but our virtual CYA member, here to help you learn, engage, and act when it comes to addressing online hate and dog whistles – especially against the disabled community.
LEA will guide you in becoming an active ally, teaching you how to spot and respond to misinformation and supporting disabled voices online. Stay tuned for LEA’s tips and insights on being a stronger advocate!
