    It’s important to me that disabled people are heard and take up space. I like to have fun and a laugh with my friends. I’m known as CYA’s communication innovator and party starter!

    I feel proud when I’m with CYA. It feels good to see how CYA have developed their signing and include it in everything we do.

    It’s important to me that people are valued equally. No one should be overlooked. Lego and drawing are my escapes. I’m known as CYA’s communication advisor. I’m always proud of having a different life experience because it gives me the chance to see things from a new perspective which then enables me to teach others.

    I care about young disabled people having autonomy over their own lives. I love reading books as it’s my escape. I am known as CYA’s Tik Tok expert.

    It’s important to me to change the way that society is systemically ableist by educating people. I like to read social justice books and I am known as CYA’s political and social justice lead. I’m proud to be fighting for future generations.

    I'm passionate about making a difference locally and nationally for disabled people. I'm also a huge Dr Who Fan and I'm known as CYA's relentless researcher.

    I'm proud of the way we continued throughout the pandemic. For many of us change is difficult, but together we've managed to overcome these changes and still fight for what we believe.

    I care about disabled people having equal rights. I love performing arts and study this at college. I’m known as the supporter in CYA.

    I’m proud that we took on Facebook. They’re a big company to be up against but it hasn’t stopped us.

    I want Facebook to see that they need to take hate comments more seriously and that everyone’s voice should be heard. I write my own music and I’m known as CYA’s narrator.

    It’s important for me to make a difference in this world for disabled people. I enjoy educating people and changing people's negative attitudes. I like doing the minutes and being a voice for those who struggle with speaking.

    It’s important to me that Facebook and other social media is a safe space for disabled people. I enjoy spending time with my wife, seeing my family in Dorset, doing carpentry and going to the theatre. I’m known as CYA’s checker, my role is to keep our meetings and work on track. I really enjoy campaigning and CYA is really important to me.

    I'm a singer/songwriter, I like to help people and make sure everyone is included. It's important to me that everyone's needs a valid and get to live there lives the way they want to. My role within CYA is the go to Creative, there for all of CYA’s musical needs.

    It’s important to me for disabled people to be heard and that CYA helps disabled people have a voice. I love baking anything with chocolate. I also love walking my dogs. I am known as CYA’s cheerleader and mum as I’m always supporting the team and giving them encouragement when they need it.
